8. Apply the serial label adjacent to the machine serial
label.
Operation
Position the marker lights (front and rear). Press the top of
the switch—the switch will illuminate and the red (rear) and
white (front) marker lights will turn on.
Adjusting the Headlights
Adjust the headlights so that the horizontal part of the cut-off
of the beam is tilted downward at 2.0%.
1. Loosen the nut that secures the headlights to the
bracket.
2. Adjust the headlights into position by hand.
3. Tighten the nut to hold the light in the correct position.

2. Direction indicators
Headlights
These operate as the position marker lights, except that
the ignition switch must be in position 2 to illuminate the
headlights.
Hazard Lights
Press the top of the hazard light switch to flash all 4 indicator
lamps. The ignition switch does not need to be on for these
to operate.
Direction Indicators
With the ignition switch at position 2, press the relevant side
of the direction indicator switch to flash the 2 indicator lamps
on that side of the machine.
3. Lights—On/Off
Brake Lights
The brake lights automatically turn on when the machine is
decelerating (when the control pedal is returning to neutral,
when travelling in a forward direction only).
Maintenance
Replace all worn or damaged parts with genuine Toro parts.
Check that all lights are working on a regular basis. Ensure
that the headlights are adjusted correctly. Clean the lights
daily—avoid using solvent-based products.
Changing a Bulb
Note: Each headlight uses an H4 halogen bulb.
1. Remove the lens cover.
2. Remove the bulb.
3. Install a new bulb.
4. Install the lens cover.
