Avoiding leaving any Ethernet service cable unconnected
Do not leave any Ethernet service cable unconnected (see Figure 1).
If an Ethernet service port is not in use, remove the cable from it and fasten a PG cover or protective cover onto it.

Precautions for Installing the RTN 380H onto a High Tower
When the RTN 380H is installed on a self-supporting tower, maintenance personnel cannot performance off-tower
Maintenance through WLAN, because the RTN 380H is installed at a high position. You can use the following methods to
solve this issue:
Connect an outdoor network cable to the NMS port on the RTN 380H. During off-tower maintenance, a PC running the
Web LCT can connect to the RTN 380H through the outdoor network cable.
