Caution:
Before installing in a nuclear application, determine that
the product is Intended for such use.
Warning:
Disconnect power before installing or servicing.
General
The CR305X5508 indicating light is designed for easy installation to
a CR305/CR205, CR306/CR206, CR307/CR207, or CR308/CR208
magnetic starter or contactor. It provides a dependable, easy to see,
signal when the motor is in operation. The NE45 neon bulb used in
this kit assures extra long life and seldom needs replacement dur­
ing the life of the device on which it is mounted. For illustration of
component parts, see Figure 1 .

Installation
1. Remove plastic clamp on left magnet retainer strap (see Figure 2).
Remove plastic clamp and remount in hole above on same mag­
net retainer strap.
2. Assemble the indicating light mounting bracket onto the magnet
retainer straps as shown in Figure 2, using the four thread-cutting
screws (Figure 1).
3. To wire indicating light in parallel with the coil, insert terminal end
of red wire {connected to the bottom terminal of indicating light)
into bottom coil terminal.

Connect for desired voltages as in A or B below.
A. For 115 volt circuits, insert stripped end of
the top terminal on indicating light. Place terminal end into top coil
terminal.
8. For 230 volt, 460 volt, and 575 volt circuits, run resistor,
indicated in Table A, through insulation tube and install in same
manner as resistor shown in Figure 2.
4. Remove square knockout from cover of enclosure by placing blade
of a screwdriver at the bottom of the knockout and applying force
from the front of the enclosure cover.
5. Insert lens from the front side of the enclosure cover with the tw o
small holes for the wire spring clip at the top.
6. Insert the ends of the wire spring clip into the two small holes in
the back of the !ens (see Figure 3).
7. Swing wire spring clip flat against enclosure and snap into
position.
