Parameters in the IPConfig tool
To be able to use the parameters, start the IPConfig tool with "./s7_vnic_ipconfig".
Upper and lower case are taken into account in these parameters.

Description
--nic
Name of the Linux runtime communication interface via which the request
is sent.
To display the name, list all interfaces using the command "ip addr".
root@debian:/mnt/SWCPU/bin# ip addr
The interface with a MAC address between "28-63-36-78-B0-00" and "28-
63-36-78-BF-FF" is the runtime communication interface.
--mac
MAC address of the runtime communication interface from the CPU.
Use the Management tool for MAC addresses (Page 60) with the parame-
ter "-m" to display the MAC addresses of the interfaces.

--setip
IP address assigned by the CPU for the runtime communication interface.
--setmask
Network mask assigned by the CPU for the runtime communication inter-
face.
--setgw
Gateway that is assigned by the CPU for the runtime communication inter-
face.
--help
The help and an example of how to use the tool are displayed.
Description
--kernel-path
Active path of the kernel version.
If the kernel is updated after the installation, use this parameter to identify
the new kernel path. If no update is available under Linux, the tool automat-
ically finds the active kernel path.
--ipaddr-vnic
Enter the IP address of the runtime communication interface of the CPU. If
you do not specify this parameter, the tool uses the default IP address:
192.168.73.1.
--verbose
To collect detailed data for failed test cases, enable verbose mode.
--mount-path
Inserts the path for "/dev/sda3".
--help
The help and an example of how to use the tool are displayed.
