Connecting the video cords
The quality of the picture increases from A to B.
A To connect the VIDEO OUT jack of other component to the VIDEO IN
jack of this system
Connect a VCR or other component to the VIDEO IN jack using a video/audio cord (not supplied).
When connecting a cord, be sure to match the color-coded sleeve to the appropriate component jack.
Note
• The video signal that is input from the VIDEO (VIDEO IN 1 or 2) jack is output from the VIDEO (MONITOR
OUT) jack only (it is not output from the S VIDEO (MONITOR OUT) jack).
B To connect the S VIDEO OUT jack of other component to the S VIDEO
IN jack of this system
Connect a VCR or other component to the S VIDEO IN jack using an S video cord (not supplied).
Note
• The video signal that is input from the S VIDEO (VIDEO IN 1 or 2) jack is output from the S VIDEO (MONITOR
OUT) jack only (it is not output from the VIDEO (MONITOR OUT) jack).

Connecting the audio cords

The quality of the audio increases from A to B, C.
A To connect the AUDIO OUT jacks of other component to the AUDIO
IN jacks of this system
Connect a VCR or other component to the AUDIO IN jacks using an video/audio cord (not supplied).
When connecting the cords, be sure to match the color-coded sleeves to the appropriate component
jacks.
B To connect the COAXIAL DIGITAL OUT jack of a component to the
DIGITAL IN COAXIAL jack of this system
Connect the component to the DIGITAL IN COAXIAL jack using a coaxial digital cord (not supplied).
