38 Chapter 4 General procedures
If you use a 75° glossmeter, you can determine the gloss level as follows:
• above 50 percent gloss, click Glossy
• 15 to 50 percent gloss, click Matte
• below 15 percent gloss, click Uncoated.
Click Apply. If Uncoated was selected, the following message is displayed:
If the Configure Color Matching Parameters window appears, continue with step 8.
If the ink mix only matches the target color under specific lighting conditions, the
Warning! Metameric window appears.
Two colors are considered metameric if under a specified illuminant, they appear
equivalent to the average eye. Under a different illuminant, the colors may vary.
Select the relevant illuminant, and click Apply:
• Outdoor lighting
• Indoor lighting
• Other illuminant
