5.15 Security

5.15.1 Built-in features

Your CliniScape includes several features that are dedicated to increase the level of security of your data.
Among them:
password-protected Phoenix TrustedCore BIOS
TPM (Trusted Platform Module) 1.2.
The Trusted Platform Module (TPM) is a specific malware intelligent attacks.
The nature of this security chip ensures that the information like keys, password and digital certificates stored
within is made more secure from external software attacks and physical theft. With the handful of keys it stores,
all cryptographic functions are performed on the chip.
TPM provides the ability for a computing system to run applications more secured, allows secured remote
access, performed electronic transactions and communication more safely.
These features are available but not activated in your CliniScape. They are usually set up by your system
administrators.

5.15.2 Windows security

The CliniScape has a shortcut touch key that replaces the Windows CTRL+ALT+DEL key combinations.
Depending on the login situation this key invokes either the Windows Task Manager or the Windows
Security Dialog.
