Operating the barcode is simple:
1) Hold the CliniScape with both hands and put your right hand thumb on the
Barcode button.
2) Press the Barcode reader button to activate the barcode application
3) Aim the scanner window at the bar code
4) Ensure that the scan beam covers the entire Bar code area and that the
brighter centre line is in its middle
5) If the scan is successful, the data will appear in the application supporting
the barcode functionality and you will hear a beep sound as confirmation.
5.4 Using the digital camera
The CliniScape has a built in camera, that , without any additional software support, can be quickly initialized
and activated by pressing the camera button located on the top left of your CliniScape.
It has a 2-megapixel auto-focus CMOS sensor to take pictures and the camera lens is on the back of the unit, in
the same window of the barcode and includes a light to illuminate the subject. The camera is able to produce
pictures in BMP format with a resolution up to 1600 × 1200 pixels. Other features in the table below:
