How to check the CPU memory and decoder memory is described here.
The CPU memory and decoder memory check is performed after setting the unit to the mode for memory check.
The result of the check can be confirmed in the log output via RS232C, using the terminal software.
Connection and setting
In addition to the HD-V9000, a PC for confirming the log output and an RS232C cable are required.
Set the baud rate of the terminal software of the PC for log output confirmation to 115200 bps.
In addition, enter a program for mode switching in the root folder of a USB memory device to switch the unit to Memory
Check mode. Details on the program for switching to Memory Check mode are posted on the Niis Website.

When the process in step 1 has been completed successfully, the LCD shows "MAIN ASSY TEST."
3 When the unit is started up, connect the USB memory device containing the program for switching to Memory Check
mode to the unit. The program switches the unit to Memory Check mode and automatically reboots it.
After rebooting, memory check is started. A log is output to the terminal software of the PC via RS232C.
The CPU memory is checked first, then decoder memory.
When all the memory check processes are finished, the log output shows "The system is halted. Press Reset or turn off
D
power." (If the memory check fails, this log output is not obtained.)
When memory check is completed, remove the USB memory device and cycle the AC power.
It takes about 10 minutes for the memory check.
The indication on the front panel of the main unit will not change after a memory check is completed.
Check the log output mentioned above if a memory check is completed.
Note: If an SD card is loaded in the main unit, memory check will not be performed.
A memory check result output (successful example) is shown below.
If the memory check fails
If the memory check fails, something is wrong with the CPU or decoder memory. Replace the DECM Assy.
