Quick Guide to Disc Type

Discs that can be played back on the Unit differ,
depending on the model you are using. The kinds of disc
that you can use on the Unit are as follows.
CDP-NW10
Format of discs
Music CD
CD-R
CD-RW
Also, the Unit can play CD-Rs/CD-RWs recorded in the
following format:
– Music CD format
– CD Extra format*
* Only a music session can be played back.
The kinds of disc that cannot be played back
– CD-Rs/CD-RWs other than those recorded in the formats listed
above
– CD-ROM
– Data part of CD-Extras
– VIDEO CD
– DVD+R/DVD-R/DVD-RW/DVD+RW
– DVD-ROM
– DVD Audio
– MP3 format
– Super Audio CD

– MP3 format conforming to ISO 9660* Level 1/Level 2,
or its extended format, Joliet
* A logical format or files and folder on CD-ROMs, defined by
ISO (International Organization for Standardization)
The kinds of disc that cannot be played back
– CD-Rs/CD-RWs other than those recorded in the formats listed
above
– CD-ROM recorded in PHOTO CD format
– Data part of CD-Extras
– DVD-ROM
– DVD Audio
– Super Audio CD
– DVD VIDEO with a different region code
– DVD-R/DVD-RW´s inVR (Video Recording) mode
– DVD+R/DVD-R of double layer disc
