Chapter 1 General Description
● If "Thermal Shutdown" function is set to "Disabled" in "BIOS/Platform Configuration (RBSU)", this unit runs
directly without shutting down OS when the temperature at the caution level is detected, while the power
shuts down forcibly when the temperature at the critical level is detected.
Important
If the "Thermal Shutdown" function is set to "Disabled" in "BIOS/Platform
Configuration (RBSU)", the high temperature may damage the server.
Tips
In case NEC ESMPRO ServerAgentService is installed, since a shut down due to
high temperature is executed by NEC ESMPRO ServerAgentService, you need to
set "Thermal Shutdown" to "Disabled."
