The following applies to connecting external alarm indicators: If the external alarm indicator is connected to only one individual detector, there are no limitations.

    No detector function ● Do not operate the FDOOT241-9 detector with the FDB299 base adapter on a collective control panel. If you are using detector bases Z7x and Z9x on a CZ10 control panel, you need to replace detector bases Z7x and Z9x with detector base FDB201.

The multiple protocol detector is designed such that the parameter set configuration does not have to be changed. If the FDOOT241-A4 multiple protocol detector is operated as SDF1200, SDF2200, or SDF3100 under SIGMALOOP, it can be switched to sensor mode '0' with the detector exchanger and tester FDUD292.

Detectors on a collective detector line are switched to test mode for 3 minutes in the following cases: Starting up and resetting the detector line.

Remove the diodes in the detector bases in the case of mixed collective detector lines to which manual call points and point detectors are connected.

We would recommend using the FDUL221 line tester for the changeover. You will find more information on the FDUL221 in document 008250.

After switching back, the detectors again run with their default setting.
