12. Select the menu command "Insert > SIMATIC PDM > 1 Object".
13. Click on the "Assign Device Type ..." button in the "Insert Object – networks"
dialog box.
Note
If the field device cannot be assigned automatically, the appropriate device file
must first be downloaded and installed in the Device Integration Manager
(Electronic Device Description; abb: EDD).
