To ensure a smooth run and a long lifespan of the product the following requirements have to be met. The coolant system may only be filled in the cleaned state and connected to the pump. No core sand, other production residues or contamination of the pump may be supplied. The pump may only be operated with commercially available coolants. Bosch Motorsport can’t issue a release. The chemical resistance must be proven in own tests.
| Requirements for the intake air Electric Coolant Pump ECP 160 Requirements for the intake air If the pump is operated in a dirty environment, clean intake air must be provided. The intake air particles must be less than 0.1 mm. The pump has only low intake effect and must not be obstructed by fine filters during operation.
