RECORD

a
c
It is the setup for record resolution and frame rate of each channel. Since the resolution and picture quality are
different by the setting, you must be very careful.
a PICTURE SIZE
It sets the video resolution. The frame rate depends on the resolution.
The higher resolution , the lower frame rate while the lower the resolution, the higher the frame rate.
[Table 1-1]
Resolution
Frame Rate (NTSC)
720 x 480
720 x 240
360 x 240
Note
Frame rate: It means the number of video images per second. If there are 30 video images per second, the
recorded video looks natural.
b PRERECORDING
It is for the prerecording setup. If this function is not used, the event recording has no meaning. If the object
has already passed but the recording started after, we cannot distinguish(analyze) the situation correctly.
Therefore, the system should have the image before the incident happen as an evidence.
- LDV-S802 has the recorded video image before 5seconds but, it depends on the resolution and frame
rate.
Note
Prerecording function.
If the recording is setup by the Motion Detection, the DVR starts recording after the door opened. If the
intruder went through the door in a very short time, his image will not be recorded in the DVR. That's why
the prerecording is necessary. Since the DVR has the image before recording, if the actual recoding starts,
and the pre image is saved on HDD as well as the evidence.
c The frame rate, picture quality and audio recording as per the channel can be selected.
