Keyboard Options
To change the repeat properties of the keys on the PALETTE VL processor's keyboard, choose Keyboard Options
from the PALETTE VL Control Panel. Adjust the properties accordingly.
Monitor Power Saver
If the system is running 24 hours a day, seven days a week, it
may be a good idea to use the Screen Saver option in from the
PALETTE VL Control Panel. It is, however, preferable to turn
off your monitor when the unit is not in use. To adjust the
power scheme, Launch the Power Options Properties from the
Control Panel.
Tip:
The safest way to turn on the monitor after it has
automatically turned off is to touch the [SHIFT] key on your
console. That is assured not to change any levels on the stage
(either by running cues or adjusting subs). Touching any key
or handle on the console will disable the screen saver and turn
the monitor back on).
Note: It is suggested that the hard disk power scheme not be
adjusted/changed from its original settings.
