8.3 ADJUSTMENTS
1. TILT GAIN ADJUSTMENT
• Purpose: To adjust the
gain
of
tilt
servo according
to the gain
rank of
the
tilt
sensor.
•
Symptoms
when
incorrectly adjusted: H
unting
of
the
tilt servo
and
increased
crosstalk due
to an
increased non-
sensitive range of
the
tilt
servo.

•
Check that VR9 is set to its mechanical
center
posi-
tion, and set "TILT SERVO
OFF•
" by
remote con-
troller
or remove the
CN4 connector
from the
FTSB
assembly (to
tum off
the
tilt servo).

the
dot

flexible cable
locat·
ed
at
the
side of the
tilt
sensor.

There are three
dot
conditions:
adjust VR8 on
the
FTSB board
according to the folowing code.
Red dot: Turn
VR8 fully
clockwise.
Blue dot
:
T
urn VR8 fully
counterclockwise.
