8.3 Installation

8.3.1 Mounting an extension card into a DCU

To be able to install the extension card into the DCU, the DCU has to be opened as
described below.
Note
For more information refer to the "Installation Instructions" on
the CD-ROM delivered with the DCU.
Warning
Disconnect the main power supply before any work is carried out on
the DECT6000 system.
Caution
When work is carried out on the DCU wear an anti-ESD bracelet to
prevent damage to the PCBs.
