    Installing the UIM Card and the Battery When installing the User Identity Module (UIM) card, ensure that the golden contact area on the UIM card is facing downward and that the beveled edge of the UIM card is properly aligned with that of the UIM card slot.

    Keys and Functions Press… To… Call key Dial a number or answer a call.  Power on or off the phone (by pressing and holding the key). End key  End or reject a call.  In standby mode, access the main menu by pressing this key.

    Profiles You can set the profile and other sound-related or vibration-related features on the phone. The phone provide six profiles, including General, Silence, Meeting, Outdoor, My Profile 1 and My Profile Select Profiles > Options > Edit to modify the Volume, Alert Type and Sound Settings of the preset profile.

     In Inbox of SMS , select a desired message, and then press the Call key to call the message sender. Answering a Call When there is an incoming call, you can press the Call key to answer the call or the End key to reject the call. If the any-key answer function is enabled, you can press any key except the Right soft key and the End key to answer the call.

    PIN and PUK The personal identification number (PIN) protects your UIM card from unauthorized use. The PIN Unlock Key (PUK) is used to unlock the blocked PIN. If you enter wrong PINs three times consecutively, the phone prompts you to enter the PUK. If you enter wrong PUKs 10 times consecutively, the UIM card becomes permanently invalid.
