    Installing the UIM Card and Battery The User Identity Module (UIM) card and the T-SIM card are the same, that is, Subscriber Identity Module. Make sure that the golden area on the UIM card is facing downwards and the cut-off edge is correctly aligned with the card holder.     Charging the Battery 1. Connect the charger to the charger interface at the bottom of your phone. 2. Connect the charger to an AC power socket. 3. During the charging, the charging icon is displaying in animation. 4. When the charging icon becomes static, the battery is fully charged.

    When the backlight is off and the keypad is locked, press to turn on the backlight. In the standby mode, choose Menu > Settings > Phone Settings > Power Save. Press and select On. Then the phone enters the power saving mode, and it can turn off the keypad backlight automatically between 9:00 to 17:00.
