Number of Discussion Devices allowed in system

This section is only applicable if you want to connect one or more extension cables to the
system cabling. Connecting an extension cable to the system cabling has a direct effect on the
available power for the Discussion Devices. The longer the extension cable(s), the fewer
Discussion Devices can be connected to the system.

If no extension cables are connected to the system cabling, a maximum of 40 Discussion
Devices can be daisy‑chained to each trunk output of the Control Unit.
If you want to connect extension cables to the system cabling, you should use the
following table to determine the total number of Discussion Devices that can be
connected to each trunk output of the Control Unit.
It is recommended to connect equal numbers of Discussion Devices to each trunk output.
