Setting for Mixed Size Papers in the Hopper

When setting original manuscript
or removing jammed sheet, be
careful not to cut your finger with
the edge of the sheet.
Be careful so your watch, bracelet,
cuff, or necktie do not get caught
by a projection or damaged by the
metal part.
Hopper Plate
① Slide the paper guide about 5 mm
wider than the stack of papers.
② Stack the smaller papers on top
③ Align the papers to the top and left
edges.
④ Place the paper stack as face up on
the Hopper and align it to the top
edge and left edge to the guide.
Check if the edge of the papers are
not folded. Especially check the paper
conditions at the bottom.
⑤ The paper guide aligned with largest
papers.
⑥ Select the scan mode by the host and
start scanning.
⑦ Remove the scanned papers from the
stacker.
