Loosen 1 fixing screw of the tension bracket.

Remove 3 clips and take off 3 pulleys.
(5)
Take off the CIS unit drive belt-1.
Note:
When assembling the CIS unit drive belt-1,
assemble it while the fixing screw is loos-
ened. Then hook the tension spring and
tighten the fixing screw of the tension
bracket.

Take off the scanner top cover.
