It takes time to import images via a
wireless LAN.
If the total size of the image files to be
imported is large, the import takes time.
If you are using a camera/camcorder, put it
as close to Connect Station as possible.
If you are using a smartphone, put it as
close to the access point as possible.
If multiple devices are connected via a
wireless LAN at the access point, the
target device may not be able to connect.
For details, refer to the access point's
instruction manual.
If a microwave oven, Bluetooth device, or
other device that uses the 2.4 GHz band is
used nearby, put it far away or turn off its
power.
Viewing on a TV Set
Connect Station's screen does
not appear on the TV screen.
Make sure that the HDMI cable's plug is
inserted all the way in (p.14).
On the TV screen, select the TV's video
input to which Connect Station is
connected.
Movies with a resolution exceeding
1920x1080 cannot be played back.
Movies with a resolution exceeding
1920x1080 cannot be played back.
Movies are not played back
smoothly.
In some movies, the movement of the
subject may not be played back smoothly.
When Connect Station performs another
operation while playing back a movie, the
movie may not be played back smoothly.
Operation became disabled.
Hold down the power button for 2 sec. or
longer to turn off the power, then turn on
the power again.

NFC Function and Wireless LAN
Connect Station does not respond
when I hold a camera/camcorder,
smartphone, etc. close to its NFC
connect point.
Check the location of n on the camera/
camcorder, or the location of the NFC
antenna of the smartphone or tablet.
When Connect Station gives three short
beeps and the power lamp blinks in red,
make sure the NFC function and Wi-Fi
function are correctly set on Connect
Station, the camera/camcorder,
smartphone, etc. (p.22, 40).
Make sure the smartphone or tablet is
compatible with NFC function.
To find out whether the camera/camcorder
is compatible with Connect Station's NFC
function, contact the nearest Canon
Service Center.
Connect Station cannot connect to
the access point.
Make sure the power to the access point is
on.
If you cannot connect to the access point
now although you were able to connect
before, turn off and on Connect Station,
the smartphone, tablet, printer, access
point, etc. If Connect Station is away from
the access point, put it closer.

other device that uses the 2.4 GHz band is

Connect Station cannot be
connected directly to a
smartphone or tablet.
A smartphone or tablet cannot be
connected directly to Connect Station.
