Sign up as a CANON iMAGE GATEWAY member and set up an account. For
information on the setup procedure, see "Signing Up as a Member" (p.46).
[Collect device information]
For the purpose of providing you with information regarding Canon's products and
services and of developing products and services that better meet customer needs,
Canon requests that the information related to your usage of this product and
cameras/camcorders, lenses and accessories that you connect to this product, be
regularly transmitted to Canon via the Internet.
Please note that you may still use this product even if you do not agree to the above.
And even after you agree, you may choose to discontinue transmission of your
information at any time by changing the setting of this product. For details on how
transmitted information is treated, please refer to the CANON iMAGE GATEWAY
Privacy Statement.

When you press <M>, you
can view detailed information
about collection of camera/
camcorder information.
You can agree to information
collection on a product-by-
product basis.
Press the <d> <f> keys to
select the target product, then
press the <h> <g> keys to select
whether you agree or not.
When a new product is detected,
it is added to the list.
