Editing stored information [F34]
You can edit the name, phone number, and memory location of specific entries
stored in the Phone Book. If the selected entry is restricted, you must enter the four-
digit lock code to edit it (see page 54).

Turn
to select "Edit" from the Directory
menu, then push
The following display appears, prompting you for the
Phone Book entry to be edited.

Turn
to select the entry that contains
the information you want to edit.
In addition, you can use the number buttons to select
the entry to be edited.
A display similar to the following appears, prompting
you to confirm that the selected Phone Book entry
should be edited.

Push
again.
The Edit menu appears.

Turn
to select the item you want to
change, then push
You can change the name, phone number, or memory
location by selecting "Name," "Phone #," or "Location
#," respectively. The stored information that
corresponds to the selected item appears.

Enter the new information.
The old information is overwritten.

When you are finished, push
A display similar to the following appears, confirming
that your changes have been saved.
Tip
In addition, you can use the Options menu to edit Phone Book entries (see page 25).
