ADD NAMES TO THE TRANSLATION
TABLE

A CLIP number received from the Central Office can be associated with a name programmed in the
translation table. This name can be displayed when a call from the number rings in. If there is no
match between a received number and a name in this table, the number will be displayed. The
translation table consists of 500 entries, each comprising a telephone number up to 14 digits and a
name up to 16 digits.
The procedure for entering names is as described in
Open customer programming and follow these instructions.
ACTION
1. Press Transfer (or TRSF) 728
Display shows first entry
2. Dial an entry number (e.g., 0005)
OR press the VOLUME keys to scroll through
entries and press the right soft key to select
entry
3. Enter the telephone number and press
right soft key to advance to name entry
OR enter telephone number and press
left soft key to return to step 2
4. Enter the associated name and press right or
left soft key to return to step 2
OR press Transfer (or TRSF) to save and exit
programming
OR press SPEAKER to save and advance
to the next program
