Moving items around the screen
This is similar to using a conventional mouse. First
use the left button to select an item. If you now keep
the button held down while moving your finger across
the trackpad, the item will be dragged across the
screen.

Using the keyboard

Although the keyboard is similar to a standard
desktop model, some of the keys perform extra
functions in order to conserve space. These extra
functions are shown as blue text, and are shown
shaded in the keyboard illustration on the following
page. Their function is also described in the
accompanying table. To use any of these extra
functions, hold the <Fn> key down while pressing the
required function key.
The numeric keypad overlay
To activate the numeric keypad, press F11 while
holding down the Function key. The Pad lock
LED will light up to indicate that the numeric pad
is activated. Pressing F11 while holding down the
2 / 2 U s i n g t h e c o m p u t e r ' s c o n t r o l s
Function key again will de-activate the numeric
keypad, returning the keys to their normal functions.
