6.2.9
Computer Time/Date Interface
The LTC 2376 and LTC 2377 have the capability for time and
date settings to be set from a remote device. The commands are
as follows:
COMMAND
Set the time
Set the date
NOTE: In both cases, the commands are not case sensitive,
and the return character is the standard carriage return character
13 in decimal or 0D in hexadecimal.
The numeric values for both the Time and Date commands
MUST be sent in a hexadecimal format as below:
• Hours in hex: 0 to 17
• Minutes in hex: 0 to 3B
• Seconds in hex: 0 to 3B
• Month in hex: 1 to C
• Day in hex: 1 to 1F
• Year in hex: 0 to 1D for 2000 to 2029
For example:
• To set the time to 11:55:00 AM, send the following
characters:
ASCII characters: !TIME B 37 0 [return character]
Hex characters: 21 54 49 4D 45 20 42 20 33 37 20
30 0D
• To set the date to February 28, 2004, send the following
characters:
ASCII characters: !DATE 2 1C 4 [return character]
Hex characters: 21 44 41 54 45 20 32 20 31 43 20 34

6.2.10 Factory Default Settings
You can restore the unit to its factory default settings as follows:
• Press and hold the VCR key. Connect the power cord (turn
on power) while you continue to hold the VCR key for 5
seconds. This restores the unit to its initial values.
The initial Factory Defaults values are as follows:
• CAMERA TITLES. Display as CH1, CH2, CH3, CH4.
• VCR OUT MODE. Set up as Same as Monitor Out
mode (LTC 2376; always Quad Only mode).
• ALARM SETUP. Alarm Channels are all ON, and Video
Loss Channels are all OFF. Dwell Time is set up as 5 sec.
Alarm input polarities are all normally open (NO).
• SEQ SETUP. Each 2 seconds (1~4 and Quad).
• TIME/DATE. Time and Date are not changed, Format is
set up as MM/DD/YEAR.
• PASSWORD SET. Password is disabled.

MAINTENANCE

The Quad unit requires no routine maintenance and is
designed for long, trouble-free use under normal
operating conditions. Repair should only be attempted
by qualified personnel.
