Your service provider registers your phone to a
network. You can view information about the current
network, change how your phone searches for a network,
specify your preferred networks, activate alerts that indicate
when a call is dropped or network registration changes, and
change your phone's frequency band setting for different
geographical regions (1900 MHz or 900/1800 MHz).
Use the
band setting if you travel from regions using 1900 MHz
Your phone can send a number to the
network as dual tone multi-frequency
(DTMF) tones. DTMF tones are used to
communicate with automated systems
that require you to enter a number such
as a code, password, or credit card
number. Use this option to set DTMF
tones to be long, short or off.
Reset all options back to their original
factory settings except for the unlock
code, security code, and lifetime timer.

factory settings except for the unlock
code, security code, and lifetime timer,
and clear all user settings and entries
except for information on the SIM card.

user-entered information stored in your
phone's memory, including phonebook
and datebook entries. Once you erase
