it Key Points of the Procedure it
1.
Pressing the | Function | key in Step 2 interrupts the span adjustment and returns you to the
original measurement mode.
2.
The calibration weight used for span adjustment should be heavier than half the capacity of the
balance.
To implement a calibration as precisely as possible, use a weight close to the capacity of the
balance.

If problems arise during span adjustments, one or more of the following error messages will
appear:
(1)
[o - E r r ]: The calibration weight exceeds the capacity of the balance.
(2)
[ i - E r r ]: The calibration weight is less than half the capacity of the balance.
(3)
[£' - E r r ]: The difference between before and after calibration values is too large (1.0%
or more).
2<;lf error messages are displayed, calibration cannot take place.
Check the weight and re-calibrate.
If the same error continues after repeated calibrations using
the correct weight, please contact our Marketing Division or Technical Service Division.
