Updating Software
At specified time, handset automatically checks
for/downloads firmware updates as required. To update
firmware manually, follow these steps.
Software Update cannot be performed via PHS data transmission.
In application sheet, (Settings)

Software update menu opens.

Before Software Update
Saved files and data may be lost depending on handset status. Back
up important files and data before updating software. We are not
liable for any damages from lost information.

Software Update Cautions
During Update
Handset cannot be used until Software Update completes; it may take
some time to complete.
Signal Conditions
Check signal strength and battery charge beforehand. Poor signal
strength or low battery charge may disrupt updates leading to update
failure. Update failure may disable handset.
