The Home window configures the router for the Local Area Network (LAN).
The IP Address, Subnet Mask, and Default Gateway values are supplied by
the IT department system administrator.
Once the window is saved, the router will use the new settings and will
require you to log in at the new address. If the router is not on the same
subnet as the network gateway router, it will not function correctly.
IP Address The internal or private network address of the router. For
BACnet routing that requires a public IP address, see
page 33
.
Subnet Mask Mask determines which part of the IP address is used for a
network identifier and which part is used for a device identifier. The mask
must match the mask for the network gateway router and other devices on
the subnet.
Default Gateway The address of the network gateway router. The router
and gateway router must be part of the same LAN subnet.
