I bought my camera while it's still sealed in the box so it's brand new. I loaded the battery correctly and had charged the camera for about 12 hours already. The LED indicator is still on, meaning it hasn't fully charged yet since it hasn't turned off. And when I unplug and try to test how much battery is charged, it won't turn on. I'm not really sure what else to do. The battery wasn't leaking nor did any parts appear damaged.

If your AIPTEK T8 camera won't turn on after charging the battery for 12 hours, check the following:

1. Ensure the battery is correctly loaded.
2. Confirm the battery has enough power.
3. Make sure the camcorder was powered off during charging.
4. If using a PC to charge, do not power on the camcorder while charging.
5. Try using a USB extension cable if needed.

If these steps are done correctly and it still won't turn on, the battery or camcorder may be faulty.
