Insert the battery (1) into the battery bay at an angle and then press down on the battery (2) until it is
fully seated .
On select models, the battery release latch (3) automatically locks the battery into place.
Removing a battery
To remove the battery:

To prevent loss of information, save your work and shut down the computer through Windows before
removing the battery.
