Access Point Mode
In Access Point Mode, the DIR-809 connects your wireless devices together, but does not provide routing functionality. It
also allows a connected wired device to connect to your other devices wirelessly. This can be useful if you already have an
existing Internet router that does not have built-in wireless capabilities. You can also use this to create a private wireless
network without Internet access so that your devices can securely connect to one another without being exposed to the
Internet or other computers. See "AP Mode" on page 34 for configuration options.
