Troubleshooting

Before starting any service work, operate the unit until it is no longer under pressure – if pressure is not released, chemical may
escape unexpectedly when working on the unit.
After servicing, carry out test run with clean water.
Condition
Pumping action produces no pressure
Lever can be operated with little
resistance
Lever jammed or difficult to move
downwards
Unit sprays only while pumping
Nozzle does not spray – pressure in
container OK
Liquid drips from nozzle
Jet only – spray not atomized

Cause
Pump barrel damaged
Valve disks damaged
Piston cup seal damaged
Piston cup seal not lubricated
Nozzle / filter plugged
Pressure vessel full of liquid
Nozzle / filter plugged
Nozzle / filter plugged
Nozzle dirty
Remedy
Install new pump barrel
Have valve disks replaced
Have piston cup seal replaced
Lubricate piston cup seal with grease
Clean nozzle / filter
Pump until unit is completely empty
Repeat after no more than 5 refills
