Turning on the VSG

Connect the female end of the supplied power cord to the power socket on the back of the VSG and the male end to
an appropriate power source.
When the power source is turned on, the PWR LED on the front panel turns on.

Methods of Restoring Factory-Defaults

You can erase the current configuration and restore factory defaults in two ways:
•
Use the RESET button on the front panel of the VSG (press this button once). Use this method for cases when
the username, password and IP addresses of the VSG is not known.
•
Use the web configurator to restore defaults (refer to Section 3.8).
All custom settings will be lost once you reset to the default settings.
