    Getting To Know Your Kayak Anatomy A kayak has basic features. The front of the kayak is the bow and the rear is the Starboard Port stern. When looking forward to the bow, the left side of the kayak is port and the right side of the kayak is startboard.

    Mini-X Seating Mount Front Seat Straps Place Apex seat in cockpit area. Hook top straps to threated eyelets that are near the front of seating area. Front Strap Eyelet for Seating Back Strap Eyelet for Seating Back Seat Straps Hook seat clips to eyelets that are near the back of seating area.

    Mini-X Drain System Seat Drainage Unscrew threaded eyelet to drain excess water from the seating area for a dry and comfortable ride.
