If the static head is greater than 5 metres then the pre-charge pressure of the HIGHEST POINT OF SYSTEM expansion vessel will need to be increased.

Horizontal runs should also be 10mm diameter, however it is good practice to use 15mm diameter, on the horizontal sections only, of pipe runs longer than 40 metres.

When baffles are left out, wrongly positioned or excessively distorted, the Boiler efficiency IMPORTANT will be drastically reduced.
