Cleaning and Maintenance:

1. Unplug the appliance from the main supply
and let the iron completely cool down.
2. Clean the iron with a damp cloth.
3. Wipe off scale and any other deposits on
the soleplate with a damp cloth or
non-abrasive(liquid) cleaner. (Fig.10)
4. Never immerse any part of the appliance in water.
Trouble shooting
Problems
Iron won't heat
Water tank
indicator OFF and
no steam
Droplets of water
escape from the
soleplate
Possible causes
Incorrect connection to the
main socket
Temperature control dail is set
at"MIN" position.
Unknown malfunction.
Filter is incorrectly fitted
Water tank has not been
installed properly
Temperature setting knob is
set at low temperature
position.
The set temperature has not
been reached or is too low.
Re-plug the unit to main socket.
Set to the required position.
Take it to qualified service man
or manufacturer for repair.
Install the filter
Install water tank till a
click sound produced.
Set temperature setting knob to
suitable position refer to Fabric
setting chart.
Allow sufficient time for iron to
preheat or set higher
temperature.
