The device indicator panel shows you the status of your new Pre-Paid Telstra Wi-Fi 4G. Charger/USB Port microSDHC Memory Card Slot Charger/USB Port Connect to a USB port to charge your Pre-Paid Telstra Wi-Fi 4G and access the microSDHC Memory Card (if fitted). You can also connect to the AC charger supplied to charge and power your Pre-Paid Telstra Wi-Fi 4G.

GETTING CONNECTED 1. INSERT SIM CARD • Y our SIM card should already be inside the device. Check to make sure. To remove back cover use thumb catch on the bottom of the device and gently lift off. • T o Insert the SIM card, slide in as shown with the gold chip facing down and the slanted edge on the right. Ensure it is pushed in entirely, so only part of the SIM is visible.
2. INSERT THE BATTERY 3. SWITCH ON YOUR PRE-PAID TELSTRA WI-FI 4G • P ress and hold the power key for 3 seconds to switch the device on. 4. SWITCH ON YOUR COMPUTER OR WI-FI ENABLED DEVICE • C heck your computer or other device has Wi-Fi enabled and search for wireless networks. Refer to your Wi-Fi enabled device manual for further details on searching for wireless networks.

For more information on the Wi-Fi home page see pages 19-20. 5. ACTIVATE YOUR SIM CARD There are 2 ways to activate your service: • A ctivate online via telstra.com.au/activate • C all 125 8887 and follow the prompts (from a Non Telstra phone call 13 2200 and say “Pre-Paid”)
Refer to the Telstra Pre-Paid Welcome Guide for further details . Your Pre-Paid Telstra Wi-Fi 4G is now connected and ready to use. 6. ENDING YOUR SESSION • S witch your device off, or disconnect via your Wi-Fi network icon status bar. 7. RECHARGING YOUR SIM • Go to telstra.com/myaccount and follow the prompts.
If you wish to use TS9 compatible antennae , please contact ZTE on 1300 789 475 during business hours EST or visit zte.com.au/telstra/MF91.htm for two free TS5 to TS9 adaptors. When conneting an antenna ensure to insert the connector carefully to avoid damage to your device.

WI-FI HOME PAGE You can activate, check data usage and change the settings of your Pre-Paid Telstra Wi-Fi 4G through your Wi-Fi home page. CHECK DATA USAGE • To check your data usage click on ‘My Data Usage’ link on top right hand corner of your Wi-Fi home page. HOW TO CHANGE WI-FI HOME PAGE PASSWORD • Go to Settings Tab • Select Device Security, then select Admin password HOW TO CHANGE SECURITY KEY (WI-FI PASSWORD) • Go to Settings Tab • Select Wi-Fi Settings, then select Security Settings You can also enable or disable the security key (Wi-Fi password) from being displayed on your device screen by selecting Settings > Wi-Fi Security > Basic Settings.
PROBLEM SOLVING Symptoms Possible Problems/ Solutions I cannot access Check the LCD display status. Make sure you the internet at all have network coverage in your area. Check that your SIM card is active and enabled with data services. Please wait 1–2 minutes for the device to initialize.
