IV. Card Hardware Installation If your Notebook Computer is not yet equipped with USB 3.0 ports you can use the bundled ExpressCard Controller to upgrade it. To install the ExpressCard simply plug it into the ExpressCard slot of your notebook! V.

3. Select [I accept the terms of license agreement], and click [Next] to continue. 4. Then select the default option icons to continue setup. Till the setup wizard finish installing the device, click [Finish] to exit the wizard.

VI. Hardware Connection 1. Make sure your computer is operational. 2. Connect the power cord. (Now the LED indicator is off) 3. Connect the enclosure to the computer with USB 3.0 cable. Now the LED activity indicator is on, and the hard disk starts spinning up. Connecting to a USB2.0 host port will work but yields lower performance.
