Installing the device driver on Windows operating systems To install the device driver on the Windows 7 or Windows 8.1 operating system, do the following: 1. Go to http://www.lenovo.com/support/docks and select ThinkPad USB 3.0 Ultra Dock. 2. 1. The ThinkPad USB 3.0 Ultra Dock icon is not displayed on the screen. The ThinkPad USB 3.0 Ultra Dock icon is displayed only when an external monitor is connected to the ultra dock. If an external monitor is connected, ensure that the video cable is fully inserted into the ultra dock and the monitor. - Page 20 It is recommended that you connect your 2.4 GHz device receiver to the front USB 3.0 connector on the ultra dock and avoid connecting another USB 3.0 device next to the connector with the receiver attached. 5. When you connect your device (such as a mobile phone) to the dock for charging, the charging speed becomes slow.
