    Trueshopping Electrical Connection Warning This machine MUST be earthed. This welder must be connected to a 230 V (50 Hz) supply, having a rated capacity of greater than 12 amps. A 13 amp (BS1363) plug is NOT supplied for this device. Connect the three core mains leads to a suitably fused supply through an isolator and heavy duty plug.

    Trueshopping Safety Precautions Cleanliness: Use clean and dry low-pressure air to blow dust and dirt from the outer shell and interior. Clean the dirt, dregs and grime from the head of welding tongs. In order to ensure enough circulating air and provide proper cooling, it is necessary to keep the airways on the machine clear.

    Trueshopping Operation Adjustment switch The adjustment switch is at the face panel of the machine, each has eight steps. Set the desired welding current for the type of metal being welded using the eight steps. Thinner metals use lower current. Heavier metals use higher current.

    Trueshopping Using The Welder 1. Use ground clamp to connect the grounding cable. The ground clamp is the cathode (-) in the circuit and completes the circuit between the welder, the welding gun and the project. It should either be clipped directly to the piece of metal being welding or onto a metal welding table.

Orient yourself on the area to be welded, and then place the Face Shield over your eyes. 10. Press and hold the torch button and stroke the area to be welded with the electrode wire to ignite the arc.
