21.2.9 Search ror byte -- S
The
S
command is used to search the file for
a
specific
eight-bit pattern.
The format

search.
The
addresses
are
both
modiFied
by
the

The pattern to be searched
for
must
have been specified via the M command (section 21.2.8).
Only the least significant bytes of the
search
pattern
and
the
search
mask
are
used
by
the 5 command.
The
S command
will display all addresses that contain patterns
which
meet
the
search
criteria.

to the S command;
however,
instead of searching

a
double
byte,
or Ulo,..d,
is searc h ed for.
