CHECKING THE THROTTLE POSITION SEN-
SOR

NOTE:
Before checking the throttle position sensor, the
Y/L
engine idling speed should be properly adjusted.

1. Check:
*****************************************************
a. Turn the main switch to "ON".
b. Connect the pocket tester (DC 20V) to the
Tester positive lead
Tester negative lead
c. Check the throttle position sensor input volt-
DC5V voltage positive lead
DC5V voltage negative lead
throttle opens.
throttle closes.

Please do not make any adjustment on
throttle position sensor.
