Antenna must be earthed to the chassis of the vehicle. Even though the Cobra GR 29 LTD ST has an auto- matic noise limiter, in some installations ignition interference may be high enough to make good communications impossible. -

Mobile Set-Up For temporary mobile operation you may want to purchase an optional cigarette lighter adapter from your COBRA dealer. This adapter and a mag- netic mount antenna allow you to “install” your transceiver quickly for temporary use. Connect the red (+) and black (-) leads of the transceiver to the corresponding terminals of the power pack. -
