Predefined settings make point-and-shoot photos easier to take.
→ Scene mode.

• P ortrait: Use this setting for a human subject.
• L andscape: Use this setting to take photos of blue skies and landscapes with richer
colours.
• S ports: Use this setting for fast-moving subjects.
• P arty/Indoor: Use this setting for well-lit indoor scenes.
• B each/Snow: Use this setting for well-lit or sunny outdoor scenes.
• S unset: Use this setting for richer colours and sharper contrasts.
• D awn: Use this setting for very subtle colours.
• A utumn colour: Use this setting for red-shifted background scenery.
• T ext: Use this setting for books or posters.
• C andlelight: Use this setting for images of bright light against a dark background.
• B acklight: Use this setting for subjects with bright lights behind them.
• N ight: Use this setting for images taken in darker conditions.

To get the best shot, follow these tips.
– Move the camera slowly in one direction.
– Keep the camera's viewfinder within the guide frame.
– Avoid taking photos of a subject in front of unrecognisable backgrounds, such as
empty skies or plain walls.
