    ETTING TARTED Installing the battery Your Kyocera KX9e phone comes with a removable lithium ion (LiIon) battery. Fully charge the battery before using the phone. To install the battery: Hold the phone face down. Toward the bottom of the phone there is a recess to aid you in opening the battery door.
